IRCC is currently accepting applications only from workers already in Canada. The stream for applicants outside Canada is expected to open at a later date.
Eligibility Requirements for Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot
To apply under the Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot, you must:
Must possess a valid open work permit
Have a job offer from a Canadian employer (outside of Quebec)
Demonstrate language proficiency (CLB 4 in English or French)
Possess a Canadian high school diploma or higher.
Have at least 6 months of continuous, full-time work experience in the past 3 years in one of the following:
Childcare or early childhood education
In-home support work
Nursing aides, orderlies, or patient service roles
